Major Field and Scope
of Work
Sculpture, Mobiles, Outdoor and Kinetic Sculpture – Metals.
Sculpture is created primarily in painted and natural fabricated metals. Early work on mobiles
quickly expanded into creation of freestanding sculpture, kinetic and static, and wall-mounted sculpture. The
use of color has always been an important element in my work. Interests in technology and engineering also
influence my design. Sculpture and mobiles are frequently created on a commission basis where a piece is
designed for a specific site, public and private.

Artist’s Statement
As an artist, observations of nature and the environment often lead me to create work with a botanical or wildlife
theme, often with kinetic elements. Interpretation of my work is left to the viewer and is intended to
provoke a joyful and inspirational response. My work is displayed in public and private spaces, indoors
and in the landscapes. Negative spaces are transformed
In to positive
focal points as the presence of color, shape and form add interest and elegance
to
the site.
